just saw kiko post a video of megadeth rehearsing. Looks like they are using Quad Cortex..

I wish they would share their presets.

Rabea has been using it live too. His presets are on the cloud.

Modelers are great for backup confidence if the entire rig fails. Makes sense to have one as Murphy's Law applies x 10 at concerts.

These guys are using them as their #1.
The QC is that good.

Dave is still using the axe 2 And a Marshall El34 100/100, with two Marshall cabs on stage and running direct, but yes Kiko is using the Quad.

Not exactly the types of tones popular around here (which the QC excels at)
but some comments from a gig.

Around 4:10 he does a nice edge of breakup tone which is usually the hardest
to pull off with digital.

FF to 9:00 for his post gig QC review. (his regular amp is a Bassman)

I got to see them in Irvine, CA last Wednesday. They killed it. Great show.

I thought only Kiko was using it?
I'm guessing they just showed Kiko's rig. I assumed they both were since it was 2 QC's in the rack but I think Dave is still using the fractal.

Oddly enough one of the QC's were showing a VH4 as the amp which was surprising to me(not a fan of that model)

When I saw them a couple weekends ago, Kiko's tone was amazing and Dave's was pretty meh honestly. Real raspy and harsh

Was it CH1 maybe? I think it's one of the best cleans on the unit.
