So he gets kicked out of the biggest metal band of all time and only has a net worth of 15-30M and that's not enough? He's probably considered one of the Godfathers of thrash and that's not enough? He's got to be number 1 and that's never going to happen, so he'll never be at ease. You can see it in his demeanor. He's just a broken human. He's obviously no better than Musk, Trump, Gates and all the rest of them. Diseased in the head and nothing is ever enough.

I agree, but something about The System Has Failed You I really got into.
Still think its a great album.

Dave Mustaine seems like an insufferable asshat. And he has an incredibly annoying voice.
 
Read the books. That is just who Dave is. For a supposed "Christian", he has a lot of hate and discontent going on. I'd like to believe he is "working on himself", but a person like him that feels he was cheated in some way will never get over it...especially if it was caused by a "friend". I can understand. I live there.
 
I have always listened to Anthrax, Slayer and Exodus over Metallica or Megadeth.

Yeah no clue why he does this other than as @peterc52 said he's miserable.

I'll say it, I've never liked Metallica but there is a ton of stuff I like from Megadeth. In fact IMO their 4 album run of Rust, Countdown, Youth and Cryptic far surpasses anything Metallica ever did. And the guy sold a ton of albums to boot. No they were never as big as Metallica but the music in my opinion was superior. And lots of their fans put the same priority on their earlier albums as well.

I'm with you, to a point. I think AJFA and MOP are on par with Megadeth's best, but Megadeth has MORE great songs/albums/etc than Metallica. Also, Youthanasia is their best imo.

It's not like I want to defend that that bitter old fart, but people expect him to move on, yet keep asking him questions about the Metallica thing.
 
Dave has complained so much about the metallica bs and he became such insufferable asshole that he was mentioned at the beginning of the even more insufferable self help book "the subtle art of not giving a fuck"

To be honest, I wouldn't be able to stand to be around Kerry for more than 20 minutes a year.
