There are a few guys over @ the Boogie board who have also confirmed the loop is funky and have already confirmed with the guys at Mesa there is a fix coming. That bit about "integrity of the circuit" was more than likely pr talk till they decided what/how/when they are going to address it. None of the Boogies I own and have owned in the past have had loop issues like this..{but..but..the settings!!). Why is it so many people are quick to bash other users and not the actual amp itself? This seems like its a common trend lately and that blows. I even mentioned in the other thread that Superunknown seemed pretty knowledgeable but if it was user error then he made a mistake. It seems it is a very real issue and a fix on the way. Way too many uptight people.....

That's cool man. You have a lot of knowledge and experience to offer here. I appreciate that you're willing to kinda chill a bit.Rezamatix":1mcwezjl said:Mr. Willy":1mcwezjl said:Rezamatix":1mcwezjl said:Steinmetzify":1mcwezjl said:Wow. Can't we all just get along? This one got weird fast...
life. not everyone gets along, and not everyone is going to like everyone else. it is what it is. thats why you can block people here and never worry about it.
Reza, I dig your playing. I dig the demos you do. I think you have a wealth of knowledge about amps that's extremely useful for forums like this. I think your band rocks hard. That being said, you really do come across as a major dick in a lot of your posts. I'll bet you're really cool in real life and not at all like the smart ass you can be here. I'm just saying man. It doesn't hurt to be nice. I bet it's an LA thing.![]()
Hey man, sorry if I have come off like a dick. Never my intention.
Sometimes things written in text can be read with bias. I'm sure I am guilty of pushing a personality on someone that really isn't that way.
I will try and be more chill.
For the record though, I was pretty fired up that people were attacking Superuknown.
He was only bringing the true knowledge of a problem with the amp to our group here and was getting bashed for it.
I got a little fired up about that.

Yes , we are aware .
This ONLY happens IF a DELAY is plugged into the Loop AND you are playing at low volume , if you playing at normal volume never going to be an issue.
Yes we will have an optional MOD for this , it is a discretionary MOD based on if you will be subject to that scenario I described above .
We just found out about this and will have a bulletin going out in the next 24 hours with the update . Which involves a new Matser POT on the clean channel.
VC4Ever":p0kj075m said:From the truth video his clean master was at around 9 o'clock. That's the send level on clean. His gain setting on both high distortion channels are around maxxed out. The gain knobs are the send level control. Those are two very different send levels for the loop. This is probably the issue. Balance those out and report back to us, anyone with the amp.

Also surprised at no Metallica clips yet.

I just got the amp today. At low volumes (all settings at 9:00) I put clean gain/MV at 9:00, also put ch. 2 gain/MV at 9:00 it still does the same thing with delay (Fractal FX8) in the loop. Big volume jump when there is a trailing delay. It's weird because it's comes in way louder than what ch. 2 is set it. There is probably a way to balance everything to unity but it is kind of retarded that it does it.
Assume same settings in ch. 1 both at 9:00, however you put ch. 2 gain at 7:00 and MV at 9:00, it does the same thing. So even if Ch. 2 (gain aka fx send) is set low it still does it.
You would have to get to retarded loud volumes where it isn't as bad.
Thanks for the review. I guess people that want to switch between channels with delay are either going to have to get the mod or play really loud lol. I don't ever do that scenario but apparently its do or die for some.
I only spent 15mins fucking around with it though. Need to get back to work. Also, I still need to RTFM.
At the moment the only thing more annoying than the loop issue is I am getting a ground loop with my FX8 where i wasn't getting with my Mark V 25.![]()
