I had the change to spend some more time with this little beast at the studio. Here's a clip
I didn’t see any bourbon in there.I'd never leave that room.
That's the 2C+ stock power section not the Strategy. Yes more headroom + some "coloring". I am gonna upload a clip 2C+ strategy 400 soonIs that just the IIC+, or with the Strategy pushing it out?
Is there much difference?
I’ve done the slaving thing. Adds balls and punch. For me it was more about feel and thump vs tone.Is that just the IIC+, or with the Strategy pushing it out?

They didn’t on Puppets, that was all IIC+ power section. The Strategy 400 came out in 1987 and they first used it on AJFA.Cool. I'd love to hear that rig in person.
I've always been interested in as to why they slaved out on MOP rather than just use the amp's power section. There must be a significant difference for that to be done. Not to mention the common myth that they'd slaved to Marshall and not the Boogies.
