Any of you own or have played a Rivolta Guitar?

What might have happened and I can’t confirm this, is that the model that I ordered came standard with a maple neck and I wanted rosewood..

Well the guitar shipped from Korea yo their US shop and they swapped out the maple to rosewood for me.

Maybe after switching out the neck they didn’t set it up properly.

Anyway something wasn’t right and I played it a few times and then let my son play it for a while.

Neither of us cared for the way it played or sounded and it stayed in its case until a guitar purge.

Damn sounds like they really went the extra mile to swap out the neck for you! Sucks it didn't work out.

Someone was asking me about buying a new guitar just a couple days ago. I told them that you need to take the guitar to a tech.

"Wait, but if I just bought it, why do I need a tech, doesn't it work??"

I explained that the tech optimizes the feel and playability. They seemed baffled at first.


You may just have gotten a neck and body that didn't do the thing together or like you said, they slapped it on and sent it out and it really needed setup work.
