Is this the one that you're selling?

You know a lot of people say "I had a IIC+ and I did not think it was all that great, I have a MkIV or V that sounds just as good." Then I ask them if it was a fully loaded one, they usually answer that it was either a IIC that was upgraded or it was the 60watt version or it did not have the simul-class, etc.![]()
Like I said you got to go fully loaded and when you go C+ or go home.![]()

Amazing.

I had an upgrade w/simul, geq, reverb, and an x-101 transformer. I sold it, got a loaded III red stripe, and couldn't be happier.

So, I know there are a few different "stripes" and I am wondering if anyone knows what the sequence of stripes is and what differences are in each.
Tall order I know, but Mesa seems to have let the web page expire or something, thew one with the info. I think clarity would helpful here.
I LOVE the tones you are getting, yet if there are other options to get very close, even just close, then it could be worth exploring.
Stripes I know of are below, not necessarily in order:
-None or black dot (this is the first version)
-Red
-Blue
-Purple
-Green (this is the final version)
Any info would be greatly appreciated...

Better off going with Mesa rack gear if you want to get "close" to a true C+. A early triaxis with a Strategy 400 is one way that I personally know of that will get you 95% of the way there. I know people were using the Quad preamp and 2:90 with good results. Look on the Boogie forum for more advise.
Sure some of the mkIIIs sound good but compared to a real IIC+, I would not say they get "close". There is a reason they sell for 8-900 as opposed to 4k or more like the real C+s.
