Mesa Mark users (for metal stuff): what cab?

I am using a metal grill mesa cab with 2 EVMs in the bottom and 2 Mesa Custom 90s in the top. Both sections are currently closed. Actually considering taking the top section off as I like the cleans and low gain sounds better that way. R2 and the lead channel are better with both sections closed, so for metal I would go that way if you get one of the metal grill 412 or 212 cabs.

This, I had 2 metal grill cabs, one with MC90s and EVs, the other with all MC90S... they made my MKIV and MkIII sing...they were my fave cabs for everything tbh

For me, the best cab for a Mark series is the Mesa oversized 412. The Marks, I have found, love the Mesa V30s, and the OS cab helps give some beefier low end.

I gigged for years with my III red stripe and a VHT FB cab with v30’s and T 75’s. I always got compliments/ questions about my rig

Was hoping to pick up an OS Recto cab this weekend but that might have fallen through. It does sound good with the 1960a with G12-65s though.
