S= Sixty W G= GEQ. If it had reverb, it would be designated SRG.

The jacks on the chassis: One is for pre-amp out / power amp in to run with another Boogie, the other jack should be a stereo jack which you can plug one of Mesa’s two-switch foot switches which would enable foot switching of GEQ and Gain Boost. (On amps with reverb it normally controls reverb and GEQ).
Thank you!

I have a late mark 2b, it has the rp-9c board in it. Has anyone had this board style loop modded and thoughts on the gain and was it tight? Thanks. Or any other thoughts on it?

I’ve had Mike B loop mod an RP-9C board. Yes, definitely more gain was on tap. Tightened it up, too. The cleans get compromised a bit, but, if that’s not a concern, a worthwhile mod.

What he said. To add, in the live band mix I tend to prefer my LM IIB over a IIC+ because it has as much if not more gain, and it's more raw.
