It can be touched for punch and brutality with my EMG loaded MH guitars and the trusty OD-9, although the SLO came pretty close ...
I have not stopped playing it IN A GOOD WAY for the last hour and a half. The SLO, not so much, it was tweek this and that, FX loop blah, blah, guitar this and guitar that, cab this and yadda... The Smellth was unpack, play 15 min and goodbye...
This amp Just rips with my 2011 R8 on vintage 3 with the ol' booster, loves my uber-kab too...
Seems that 3 vintage is a little clearer sounding than two vintage, I dig them both big time
Very happy and thanks for steering me to the triple over the dual, it was the ticket...
The clean is huge and killer with my les paul and suhr modern, blows the EVH "Smellth" I had away in that dept, the SLO was really nice on cleans with the depth mod going.
I'm selling my 98 triple now because this amp owns!
