Anyone here who had them both at the same time and could tell the differences/similarities. ??

I have only the MF 400 (loaded with Celestion G12-K100 speakers) and I love it!
I always said it has the heaviest lows/bottom end.

Two or three times I had the chance to play on a Mesa Recto4x12 (loaded with v30). It totally blew me! I was under the impression that it has more lows than the MF, although the V30 is more midrange than the K100.
Both cabs are over sized so ....

The Mesa Recto would be better, better construction/speakers which made it project and cut more than the MF 400.
I thought they had similar levels of lows but the MF400 sounded boomier with my Triple than with the Recto cab.

I had both cabs in the same room and they were both slanted. I'd say the straight Recto cab has more lows than the both of these though if you like massive lows.

Have you tried them with other amp than the Triple? Very strange the MF400 sound boomier than the Recto...

locally you can snag mode four cabs for 250 bucks.

slant mesas? pppht 500+

ill take 2 mode four cabs pls
