Isn't the show used to showcase new products to be released? Maybe they just don't have anything new coming out.
When I say "new" I mean products that haven't been released yet. The mini rec has been out for months.Gooseman":dhnyb6bm said:nevusofota":dhnyb6bm said:Too much time and money to attend NAMM?

The Mini Recto is new, but as you can see in the parody video, they state, "click here to see the real demo of the new Mini-Rectifier." I take it from the fact that they are poking fun at the lesser aspects of NAMM, and still promoting a video for their new product, that Mesa is essentially stating that they don't need NAMM. I may sound like a Mesa apologist, but do most guitarists who buy gear actually make their way to Anaheim every year just for NAMM? If the answer is no, then Mesa is right on. NAMM is probably great for small name boutiques in terms of networking, but for Mesa? I don't know if they aren't wrong for not attending.
Their newer videos definitely seem to be in another league in comparison to their older offerings.

Maybe they're so behind it was much more cost effective to just play catch up on assembly.
