I love psycroptic! I like the new vocalist a lot better than the old guy. In the making of vids, the haley bros. Said they wanted more groove in the new one, and I think they succeeded. Still tech, but more accessible. Joe plays fanned fret guitars now, too.

Bought the album and the whole thing grooves like a mofo. Finally. a tech death band has embraced this and put it to use in their songwriting.

I don't think I'll ever warm up to that style of vocals but the guitar Riffs and playing is sick!

Btw Ralphie, I think it is cool that you listened to this and gave it a chance. I understand the vox aren't everyone's cup o tea, but the riffing cannot be denied!!
