You could probably try for up to what the kit used to sell for new. With kits there's no real added value in that it's already made. I have a '69 Metro 100 watter that I built 2+ years ago and even though it's been trouble free and completely ass kickin' since I don't have the building history/resume to charge for my "skills". Who knows, maybe now that the kits are no longer available the value of a made one might creep up a little. End of the day it's worth what someone will pay. To me my plexi is worth as much as any boutique guys 2K+ version because it sounds so damn good but I don't have their pedigree
the most around 1100 and at least 700 with headcase etc. Alot of the boutique amps u see around here for 3k are or were using many metro parts such as the transformers, ss effects loop , chassis, etc, which is probably really one of the reasons why metro no longer sells parts. I built a few metroamps and loved em.
steve, don't know about the 60%, the ones i look at are like 80. a chap has a vh4 and wants 3,700 firm, if u shop around u find them at 3,900. new. u still play the elmwood ?
