They both seem really high or something...even so, the amp sounds pretty cool.

If either him or the chick could play then the amp would sound pretty killer

You 2 are a tough crowd, sound like simon cowell.

I thought the amp sounded fine.

Don't know if I enjoyed this clip too much but I'm definitely interested to hear more!

that bit at the end with the girl made me smile.
i appreciate the premiere guitar coverage but good gravy they could use better micing equipment/technique when it comes to capturing the amp tones.
either spend a minute close micing the amp and dialing in the mic sound prior to the interview so when they switch to a demo it's solid, or just separate the video into two segments; discussion, and player demo again spening time micing the cab properly with cool mics. walking around with a 58 aimed randomly at the amp a few feet away for sound demoes doesn't cut it.

even their little intro tag/theme sounds like it could stand an update.

Thoose amps sounded absolutely killer,Goerge was probably hung over

man, I'm sure they sound killer in person, but that vid isn't doing those amps any favors.

I agree with this.

Premier Guitar has a cool site, but with the exception of Rebecca, most everyone else that does their videos are straight from the Guitar Center reject bin.

Am I missing something? That sounded like a fuzzy muddy mess

Almost as good as the Cameron clips huh???

I agree the Metro-Friedman & CCV [PG] clips could benefit from a do over, and bring back Joe Coffey.

These two sound pretty good.

Kinda my thoughts as well.

Well that should end the debate about "no plexi can get that level of gain for VH 1" .. and that wasn't even with any BOSS GE10 or other EQ pedal

Now, Premier guitar if you are listening.. please get rid of that interviewer. He's horrible. He can't string together a sentence without it sounding like he doesn't give a shit and he is so casual and too cool for school. Call me a tough crowd but I get tired of these guys that get on the mic and have no idea how to conduct an interview. I'm sick of seeing that guy.

man, I could care less how the guy interviewing sounded, but wow do they need to do something about their video sound quality. I just saw the CCV vid they did, and I know how that amp sounds in person.

EDIT: ok, after watching a few, I can see your point, lol.

Are some of you looking fora high gain mass compression auto-pilot tone?

Sounds like a plexi that you have to dig in to play to me.

$3500??

That is a joke, I could buy 70-72 plexis for a grand less.

a 1970-72 Marshall Plexi would be a rare amp indeed.
