Might change speakers in my Genz Benz G-Flex 2x12

I like the stock speakers in the Genz Benz cab ok....but ...thinking I might find something a little better. I like those good ol' 80's tones. Mainly play my esp m ii with jb/59 into a blackstar ht-5 but have a Baron snott watt on the way also. What speakers do you think would be a great fit for my use?
 
I hate to hijack your thread, but I have a local deal on a G-flex and wanted to get your opinion on the cab. Do you think it would sound bigger than a 2x12 recto?

I haven't used a 2x12 recto cab before...but...the genz benz 2x12 sounds huge to me. I'm sure others here can make a comparison though.
 
Good luck on the speaker quest. I didnt have much luck with the GB.
 
does anyone have any speaker recommendations whether they like the genz benz cab or not?

i replaced mine with 16 ohm Eminence Wizards.....one of the stock speakers went bad and I didnt have the cash to replace it. but had 2 wizards around...I like it...

I'm also not a speaker/cab nazi.....

I have a G-Flex and have tried V60 speakers (same that come in the Engl cabs). That sounds good, but my favorite, which I've used for years, are Hellatone 30/60 mix. Very clear, but powerful.

anyone know what ohm speakers are stock in the genz benz cab?
