Mod20 Wish List

Bruce mentioned possible plans of making a Mod20.
Bruce Egnater wrote on the MTS Forum:
"What about a MOD20 with a great clean channel build it? You change the other channel? Just an idea we a toying with."


Why not add a features wish list we would like to see to give Bruce ideas to implement on the Mod20.

Here's mine:

1. External bias adjustment
2. The ability to run any power tube (ex. Tweaker 15 power section)
3. Watts knob (ex. Rebel)
4. Reverb w/foot controller similar too Renegade (channel assign on/off/both)
5. Boost (ex. Renegade channel assign on/off/both)
6. Tight/Bright switch for the dedicated clean channel
7. Midi controlled
Bruce, Let's make this happen!

Honestly, my first thought was: I wouldn't buy it. To me, bringing back the MIDI-controllable MOD50 would make much more sense. I own the combo and I used to have the head - this amp does anything (I need) 4 sounds, 50/10W switch, serial loop, MIDI. Enough whoomp for all the venues I get to play while being significantly lighter than the MOD100.

I have the Mod50 too and like you said, it does everything including dropping down to 10 watts. But, it would be nice to have a modular amp that's grab'n'go size like the Tweaker15.

If it were like the RM22, with two slots for modules. Would seem like a nice step down/back up version of the mod50 without sacrificing a channel.
