modding Marshalll MG footswitch for Framus Cobra head

hello to all! i just picked up a framus cobra head. i went into apple music in Portland and was talking to him about finding a foot-switch that could be modded to work with the framus cobra head, since i don't have the framus foot-switch. I bought only the head. he said i could rewire the Marshall foot-pedal by pulling up the schematics for the Marshall mg programmable foot controller, and cross referencing it to the schematics for the framus foot switch....

i am literally stumped as to do this on my own. I was an electricians mate in the navy for 4 years, but i'm imagining that potentially those schematics could be beyond my knowledge. i didn't do electronics. if i were to have done that, i would have been called an electronics technician. so, with that being said, i am very much hoping you guys can help me out here.

Should i even waste my time with doing this?

if so, how do i go about doing it? i haven't been able to find a schematic for either foot switch that goes with the framus cobra head, or the Marshall mg programmable foot controller. and down about $50.00 after being sold this Marshall foot switch :/

Why bother? Voodooman makes a foot switch for the cobra.

Be super careful with Voodooman, yes I eventually got my switches but it was difficult. Screwed over a lot of people. There are other alternatives.....

Doesn't the Cobra have MIDI switching? You could use any MIDI footswitch if so.

Google it, lots of issues delivering the product. I myself had to send mine back and wait months for it to be completed. There are others that are better to deal with out there.

Don't have a suggestion sorry....if you use Ebay and Paypal you may be OK but look into what I said first then decide if its worth it.
