i wonder if GL saw this and if so he must be smh-ing

Sad - mainly because Reb is so good and just stuck. On stage. Gettin’ paid. Dying inside.

A new vid was posted last night of When Heaven Comes Down. George was on guitar and Don F'ed up the vocals. Was totally lost on what part of the song he was supposed to be in. George kind of walked behind him and gave an unapproved sideways look.

Of course I can't find it now. Stumbled across it and I believe that it said it had just been posted and only had 9 views. That was at about midnight EST last night.

Holy shit, everything about that sucked. Don sounds like he’s talking in his sleep. Lynch fucked up going into the solo bridge. And compared to the original recording, that guitar tone was weak as hell. Why would he play a single coil Strat on a song with such a massive guitar sound? Sounded like he was fighting it like hell during the solo. Reb sounded way better playing a Lynch tune.

Yikes. Well good news is that he actually sings more lyrics plastered than Vince Neil does sober.

Dude, shhhh don't say that. Dream Warriors....

All jokes aside, I was going to mention Lynch's playing as well. Sounded good to me but he does this thing now where he is trying to kind of "play behind the beat" so to speak with his solos. The problem is that he does it so much that it is like Zakk's squeal or Kirk's wah pedal.

I know years ago, Lynch started lowering his gain and going with lower output pickups, etc. He sounds good but I agree he could use just a tad more beef in there. I tell you what, that backup section kicks ass with the tones and vocals. They are keeping Don afloat.

Dude has the energy and stage presence of a wet sock

LOL!!!

Which he is wearing on his right hand btw.....

That's a great tone he has. More open and less compressed.

Wow, such a big 80’s Dokken fan. That’s tough to watch and hear. I don’t mind anyone trying to making a living, but damn.

Yeah, I think for us that remember their heyday, difficult to even see it as the same person.

George made that worth watching. I have no problem at all with his tone. The dude still has it.

Agree that George is still a killer player.

Was trying to remember when someone was jacked up on pain meds and alcohol and remembered this trainwreck:

Sounds like Don had a stroke. Sad singer and he should stop until either what is causing him to sing like this is fixed or he dies.

Hopefully, this is just an off night and not a sign of things to come.
