I have owned a Shiva 20th which I was forced to sell for financial reasons. Now that money is getting better I plan to buy another. I just can't see anything being better than the Shiva 20th but I am interested to know if the Goldfinger (45 or 90) will do the modern metal rhythm tones as well as the Shiva 20th. I know it will be a different flavor but will it have a tight low end that will stay intact when using dropped tunings? I will buy another shiva first but I am interested in the GF for a second amp. I build custom guitars so it will be used to fine tune my creations. Also, I give guitar lessons, play live and often have other guitarists come over for jam sessions. Have considered Diezels and Engls as well but Bogner seems to have nailed the clean channel as well as having an extremely versatile gain channel.
