I don't know how James Peters sets up his master volume, but it sounded great with all his amps that I tried.

Yeah... Just gonna give the Jose mod a whirl. It's cheap, doesn't hack up the amp. If I hate it then its back to stock she goes.

Hotplate on Load slaved into one of your other amp's power section.....no problem taming volume that way.

I've done that... This my sound stupid, but the fan in the hotplate gets on my nerves.

Definitely... I may try the Jose MV mod in it because it's simple and non-invasive. If I don't like the Jose, then I'll put it back to stock and put the other speaker jack back in.

at -16, it's on all the time.. but the amp is loud enough where I don't hear it.

Lucky for you I lived in an apartment at the time, that's why I sold it. Had a grumpy neighbor. He would complain even when I watched tv....frackin' asshoop!

I sold my TSL and a cab... bought your amp... amp came in on like a tuesday or something. She went into the hospital to get induced later that week. Dude it was my 3rd kid... No big deal right!? LOL!
