The Lar/Mar looks like the Rich Mod, but the resistors are removed.

Edit
Wait it's going to the tube sockets... hmmm... interesting. Does it sound anything like the Rich Mod?

I wish I had a 71 Superlead, prices today though it probably will not happen

I'm not even gonna bring up what I paid for it Scott... And just to make you cry some more? Adam made a profit on the sale of that amp to me... so he got that thing for peanuts... LOL! :D

I have not tried it yet, but it sounds like the Rich Mod minus the buzz and grainy-ness caused by the Rich Mod. It is like the Fischer MV, but resistors are on the pot just in case the pot goes open. If the resistors were not on the pot and the pot open...zap. So basically it is a safe Ken Fischer PPIV master

Yeah I saw the extra resistors it comes with... Interesting. If you try it, let me know. I'm curious to see what you think about it.

I remember when you got it, my head was still stuck up the ass of over compressed buzz bombs at the time to want it

If this would have been all the difference, then there wouldn't have been the need for another one.
But my PPIMV does have at least 5 benefits, compared to the Rich Mod, what anyone with a certain electronically knowledge easily can see ;)

I'm no EE man... I solder by pictures... draw me a picture of what it looks like, and I might be able to solder it correctly. Don't get insulted if I trivialized it. It's like you said, I have no clue what I'm looking at! LOL! :D

Don't worry, I don't feel insulted myself, just wanted to pull it straight ;)

I don't have a drawing, only a schem - ok, I have a drawing, but only in my head, what I can't scan...
... but Nik of Ceriatone already has adapted my PPIMV to his mods - and has made a drawing, what's correct.

I did OK, after selling you the head and someone else the cab, I came out $800 ahead from what it cost me initially.

Yeah I'm sure. I remember when you could get those heads for like $500 or so. That's when the 2203's were $350... I could kill myself for not buying a house full of JMP's man... and DAMN I wanted your cab!

No shit...just go on a spending spree with $3000
Wall of vintage Marshalls

Shipping a cab from Canada wouldn't be worth it.
You should look for a more local NY buy on a used one like it. Those big Marshall 1960TV greenback cabs are awesome, they sound just huge. Match made in heaven.

I like it better than the rich ppimv, best one I have tried.still nothing compares to the amp cranked, but its a good alternative..

Yup...I would have been Psychodave! LOL! :D
Well I eneded up with the mojotone and the Reissue GB's. Sounds great with this cab. I think the GB's are the missing link in this rig.
