IIINNNNSIIIIDDEEE OUT! OH OH OH DO IT AGAIN

Killer Andy you have there and the Cali mod sounds great as all I've heard have. Nice vid

Thanks for all the replies guys! Sorry, I haven't had a ton of time to reply to everyone so I will stick to questions. Let me know if there is anything you would like me to record. I will do my best to comply.

Kick ass man! Your clips are always really good. Vids are even better!

How do you like the Anderson vs the JPM-6 Petrucci?

Thanks! I love the Anderson. I hadn't picked up the EBMM in 4 weeks. I love the EBMM but the Anderson really is on a different level. I sold the EBMM this week and purchased an Anderson Classic that should be built and delivered by September. I can't wait. Just in a different space in life that I wanted a change.

Sounds f'n awesome.

Sounds like one of your pedals was picking up radio at one point- which of them was it if you don't mind me asking? Some seem to be worse than others for it

Ha! I accidentally turned off my ISP Decimator when I turned on the boost. Funny thing, that noise/radio sounds is at its worst that time of night. Later in the evenings (around 10pm) it gets much better. Go figure!

Nice. I only watched half the video because I'm on a wireless card and it's taking forever to play. And yes, if you like the cab then just leave it as is. Was that on tight or spongey? I usually leave both my gains on 6 but i have to mess around with them some more.

Good thing you only watched half. You can tell I'm not used to speaking to a camera. I usually consider myself an eloquent speaker but I tend to talk in circles with the camera on me. The amp was set to tight. I found a setting on spongy last weekend that sounded killer with the split coils on the guitar. This amp is so much fun to play! One of these days I'll join the Disney stable of artists too. Unfortunately my gray hair kills it for me. At least I'm in shape!

Chad you face puncher!

I see you were getting less camera shy as it went on and brought some pain :D Sounds awesome, man that sucker has some usable gain! Guitar looks beautiful as well, you did well with what you wanted

I probably would do much better in boxer shorts. Do you know where I can get some??

The amp has a ton of usable gain. I didn't even have it all the way up. When it is, I feel I can still control it. Seriously, the guitar/amp combo is just awesome!

Awesome!!!

As far as the speakers are concerned if it aint broke.. Don't fix it! If you are getting a tone that you love then don't screw around! I just mentioned other speakers in one of your threads just to get you to hear how that amp responds to different speakers!! No need to change if you already have a sound that you dig!!!

I agree. I am happy with the tone. My speakers are well broken in and sound good to me. Thanks for checking it out. You, Dan and Scott were the ones that got me interested in this amp. It does everything I want. The guitar is a complete bonus!

That amp is sounds fantastic IMO. And the TA just sings through it! If you ever decide to move either one, let me know please.

I don't see it going anywhere anytime soon. Sorry!

Sounds great to me.

While I do agree with "if it ain't broke don't fix it" I also think it's a pretty easy test to try some different speakers. Buy some used ones, and if you don't like them better, you can sell them and get your money back. Then you'll know for sure if you've got the speakers you want.

One of these days I would like to check out some Scumback M75 or H30s. My V30s are so well broken in that I don't feel the urge to change just yet.

Sounds great, and great playing.

The little lick you do at around 4:40 is CRAZY similar to Satriani`s sound/tone. The FAT single notes. Sweet as heck!

I agree. I like how expressive the neck and split settings sound.

Sounds great.

So now I've played 2 of the 3 marshall mods I wanna hear... Friedman and Cameron. Still want to check out a Fortin Cali. Can anyone compare the Cali to the Cameron Jose - (Dave - I know you can) and the Friedman Brown-Eye/Saturation. I'm wondering how they compare. I've read people say the Friedman is lowest in gain, but I couldn't imagine it needing more. It definitely had as much going on as the Cameron Jose. I thought the Jose was better sounding in that I liked the darker tone, plus what the depth knob did for it. On the Friedman, I really preferred the BE/Saturation switch. The Modern, Fat, C45 and HBE didn't really do it for me like just the straight BE.

I have never played the Friedman or Cameron mods but the Fortin stuff is for real.

Sounds great! Curious where u had the bright switches set on the front of the amp as well as the one under the master volume?

I'm pretty sure the bright switches were set to the left (I'll check when I get home tonight). The switch under the master is set to the right. I like it best that way.

Thanks! I was a little nervous to post my clip. Your vids set the standard. I look like a hack in comparison.

Sing it! Used to love this tune back in the day. Loving the TAG. I like yours with the upside down headstock. Very cool!

Very nice indeed !!!

I really dig your playing man and you have great taste in guitars !

I have been an Anderson player for the past 3 years and they are still my 1# axe's with my Suhr's coming in a close second !

Anyway... Congrats on the Cali and the Anderson
