Hi all, thanks for the compliments! :)

Yes, I built them all. I was in business building, customising and painting guitars a few years ago for a while, but working from home at something like that just wasnt for me! Spent all my waking hours involved in work and worrying about it!lol So I just build guitars for myself now :)

Sweet!
Would you mind explaining the MIDI and piezo stuff?
I have a GK-2 on one of my 6-strings, and would love to try good piezo on a 7, as well as adding a GK to a 7. I thought only 6 strings could be done? Couldn't one of the "strings" be shared?

Well, at the moment I have the 7 Graphtech ghost piezzo saddles running to the acousti-phonic preamp in the control cavity, to a graphtech stereo jack socket. So then I run a Y-lead from the guitar with the normal mag pickups going to my amp, and the piezzos going to a DI box and into the PA (and the tone pot on the guitar isnt actually a tone pot, its the volume for the piezzos, so I just turn that up when I want acoustic sounds). The ghost system is hands down the best acoustic sound I've heard from an electric guitar - sounds awesome!
Then the GK3 is just under the top six strings, driving a roland synth exactly as you would on a six string (so unfortunately the low string doesnt operate the synth). In the long run though I'm gonna fit a graphtech hexpander which will let me get rid of the GK3, because then the piezzos will drive the synth instead. But that means spending more and drilling more holes in the guitar, which is why I havent done it yet!lol
The function band I'm in is just a four-piece (drums, bass, guitar and vocals) so the acoustic sounds and the synth together with my normal guitar sound, can make us sound like a much bigger band!

Hey, nice guitars, what amp(s) do you use, I noticed most of your bridge pickups are lower output...

every one of your guitars has some serious style and mojo going on. I'm personally not a seven string guy (have enough trouble playing six well) but all those are sweet! Nice!

Diezel Herbert with 4xEL34s and 2x6L6s :) Has plenty enough gain that you can do pretty much whatever u want with whatever output pickups!!lol
