I prefer modern amps. I have 2 others not in the pic. The Legacy I to match the cab and a couple of combos.

I never had hoped to have this collection. Life has been good to me in 2016.

Just a suggestion; Make sure your gear is covered on a Home Owner's or some other policy. There are more than a few dickbags that would love to have that stuff and forums like this give them just enough information to find it...

The DV Mark Triple 6 (666) is a crazy amp and sells for way less used than it should. I got that amp for $400 and it is every bit as mean and nasty as the Triple Rec. The only issue is that it's hard to find replacement parts. For example, I bought this one and it was missing the Smart Controller. It is impossible to find one. However, it's got 1/4 inch inputs for every channel/function on the back so I was able to rig up a controller using Boss footswitches and a 6 channel recording snake lol.

I don't regret spending almost $2000 on it. It has a crazy good clean and is a beast when you kick it into gain. It performs really well with a clean boost and the distortion is just tight. It's not a rectifier sound. I would say it's kind of a modern sounding with a dash of vintage... so like if a 5150 had a baby with a JCM 900 and that amp baby had a baby with a rectifier. Scratch that... I don't really think you can compare it with any of these amps. I think it lives in it's own space.

I love that it has separate master for the clean and gain channels.

Yup....the archon is great!
We did a blind A/B test with my Diezel VH4 on channel 3 and the Archon was able to get dialed into the VH4 tone.
Guys were dumb founded.

Need to grab me another one.

yup. I owned both of them and fooled everyone that was listening. Had them turn away so they couldnt see the amps being toggled.
And most guys thought the Archon was the VH4.
2 of my buddies ordered the Archon that night after doing that demo.

6 guitars and the Archon I did have 7... sold one to buy the Royal Atlantic and the cab in the corner.
