My new Friedman custom amp

Dave did a full reworking of my be100 to a JEL 100, plexi channel, 800 and boost, 3 way bright switch on both channels, and thump and response. Its sounds really good.. its the first friedman amp that can do the locomotive riff- and sound right. The notes don't get smaller and go away when you pick harder. As far as I know this is a one off. Thanks again to Dave for his great customer service!

the brightness is my doing, I have the stock jcm bright cap on and the depth on zero..lol I haven't figured out how to use the response knob yet.. trying to match the 2203 in the NFB as close as can be done with the thinned out preamp is a feat.

I was trying for the last year to figure out how to use the response knob on my BE50, and I eventually figured out that it sounds much better on zero. Dave said that keeping the response on zero actually creates the most negative feedback, which I guess is what I like. I used to keep the thump at 8 or even 10 when I first got the amp, but I learned over time that it's much more affective if you keep it at 6 or less. Dave did a mod to mine that is supposed to get very close to the JEL50, but I actually prefer the regular high gain plexi mode.
