I usually try to emulate my favorite guitarists solos note for note and am actually happy about the way this came out.

A huge RR fan and I find playing his solos quite difficult, especially this one.

Done in Standard tuning with original backing track.

No one was digging my Priest improvised solo.. I like it though

Hopefully you will like this one.

Well done! When I was younger I used to sit and try to figure out Randy Rhoads solos note-for-note. I learned a lot about the guitar by doing that, his playing was a huge influence on me!

Outstanding.
Would love to the camera focus on the hands instead of the grill cloth corner.

Sounds cool. Sounds like you didn't tap the tapping part?

Thanks guys!

I know, I wanted to focus the cam, but the last two days, I've just laid it down by the speaker.

I got lucky with that take as it was the last of 10 that I did. Lol

I use the anytune app which allows you to change pitch up or down. The guitar u used is tuned in standard, so I went up a half step on the app.

Strat with a TB4 in the bridge and hot rail in neck. Stayed in bridge the whole solo. Into a Macon od9, into a peavey
vypyr 15. Added reverb and chorus.

If you hear his isolated track, besides the triple layering he does, you can hear his chorus too.

I really appreciate the nice words guys !!!
Glad you enjoyed it!!

No one dug the improvised priest solo eh ? Lol
