My only compliant initially is that it's kind of noisy. I'm guessing tubes. It just drives me insane that they can't sell an amp at this price with better, quieter tubes in it.

Looks like we're using about the same gain and EQ. I keep tinkering with it but always end up with almost everything pretty close to noon, red gain and presence around 10:00. What kind of speakers are you using? I've tried a Creamback, V30 and the G12H that came in the cab. I think the V30 is actually my favorite so far.

Yeah, I've only had mine up to 2 or 3 so far. Tubes are stock, JJs maybe? It's noisy, but not enough to bother me really.

I found all the 6505/5153 stuff I tried to be hissy bitches, but I am a freak about hissy amps. I like my rig to be dead quiet. Decimator in the loop rules.

Decimator is a must for me. I run mine first in my chain out front, works great. Congrats on the amp!

I just joined the club on the 50 watter head a few days ago too. Been going back and forth on one for the last few years. I finally decided to make the jump. Did a straight across trade for my LP Studio deluxe that wasn't getting much love lately. Wifey was pleased that I didn't spend anymore on yet another amp and also that this has a head-phone output.
