The LPS isn't as biting as the Tongsol or even Chinese, so it may actually darken the amp up a tad, but it isn't as gainy as either, so it may take off a bit of sizzle as well? Dunno, but it's making me want to grab my old mostly worn out LPS if I still have it, and try it in V1 of the TJet just for giggles.

Just remember that Bogner had originally said E34L's were a no-no in the original Uber for some reason, so I would look into that. FWIW, I put the 34L's in my long gone Marshall 2205, and they were super loud, and sounded really good in there. I got the GT rebranded ones with a "hardness level" of 1, so they supposedly were supposed to break up very early, and they were still really loud. Especially considering it was a 50 watt amp. Fortunately Ubers are so dark that you could put anything in there, and I don't think it would be overly bright, and afaik no one makes a darker tube than a JJEL34, so you shouldn't be able to screw up in that direction either.
In addition to trying the LPS in V1, put a Tungsol in there as well, and see what that does for you. I used to always run a LPS in V1 of my UL, but I've been digging on a Tungsol in that spot since my last retube. I put all new Chinese 12ax7b's in V2-V5, and I'm digging the heck out of it so far.
They had a bad bunch of JJ E34Ls that were malfunctioning in the amps, so they ended up not recommending using them. I and many others have used them without issue- mine are over a year old and are still going strong. Just like any JJ tubes, be sure to get them from a reputable source because recent batches seem to have high rates of failure.

Is there a tonal difference between the JJ EL34's and the JJ E34L's other than the 34L's can handle 30 watts each as opposed to 25???? Sorry if you already stated this, but I start typing before I read sometimes lol!

The E34Ls tend to have a tighter, deeper low end, which is good because the Rev 2 isn't a very tight amp to begin with. The regular 34s are a bit flubbier and more woofy.
