That is a mighty fine collection you have there. Congratulations on the new amp.
Pretty impressive avatar too - ubermetaldood

To the OP, you've obviously either got deep pockets or fine taste - I'll opt for the latter of those two opinions and say "it's about bloody time you got that VH4" especially considering all the other top-brass you've got going on there

Nicely done!
Mojo

No deep pockets for me, unfortunately.
However, 14 years working with gear and music, no cable tv, no cel phone(up to 2009), no car, can save you a good money!
Just moved all my focus to my studio for 14 years. That's how I've got all these!
Also, a little passion for guitars and music too.
And thanks a lot to everyone. Part of the gear I've got was because of the passion for the music and the gear shared here in this forum!
Which by the way, got some of the best avatars on the net!!!!
You Sir, have your priorities straight.

Refreshing to say the least

Nicely done.

What's the deal with the Marsha? Modded SLP?

Hey Salos,
that's Marsha BE/HBE #008.
It's a Friedman built, not modded.
I believe they all called Marsha before changing to Friedman.
It's a much simpler amp. Two channels, with different preamp and volume controls. Shared eq.
No switches or fx loop.
But this thing sounds so insane that I've decided not to touch it in anyway!
Love this amp!

You are clearly a man of impeccable taste and a sweet gear addiction. Nicely done, sir.

Thank you guys!!!

Mooncobra,
I don't know how much they cost on todays market. I remember buying this one for a friend in 99, at the Black Market Music in LA. He is from Belgium and talked a lot about this german amp that sounded amazing, but he had only heard once!
When I found this amp I've bought it for him(he paid me what I paid for the amp, $600,00 US) and enjoyed the amp 'till 2006, when he called me from WA and asked me if I wanted the amp, 'cause he wasn't playing it anymore.
Of course I wanted! So he asked for the same price I sold him the amp.
Funny thing is that this is the amp with the least gain(along with the Wizard Metal) out of the bunch. It sounds just very smooth, with not a hint of grain on the overdrive. But once you push the master volume, it's the most beastial out of them all!!
It's got a voicing that with a 7 or 8 strings will just crush everything else I've heard! Needles to say, this amp with the master on 4 sounds way louder than my Metal on 8!!!! And the Steavens still have a bit more headroom past 4, so you can start breaking things around you.
At some point I even thought the Natas was inspired by the Steavens, but that was just because of the cosmetics. Never played a Natas. Wish I can have one some day!!!
The Steavens Poundcake 100 MK-1 is the most underrated high gain amp in my opinion.

Here you can forward to 10:00 to hear it with a 7 strings gtr. Notice that master volume is around 10:00 and it's shaking the camera tripod!
This is a kind of get togheter I promove in my city where I let people try out 3 different amps for about 5 hours, since it's impossible finding these amps around to test them out.
