This is cool because I haven't been giddy over a new gear purchase in a long time!! I love this amp. It was in a local shop for about four days the owner tells me. I didn't bother playing when I first spotted it but rather started doing my homework on them. Then I played it. Done. Picked it up used but in new condition for $1,100. First thing I did when I got it home was remove the chasis, inspect the guts, etc. Pristine. Still stock tubes - though I went ahead and biased them...can't imagine how much more it can improve when I drop some quality glass in there.
This was the final youtube clip that pushed me over the G.A.S edge...

Only reason I don't have a clip here is because I'm literally overwhelmed at the moment, the amount of different Marshall crunch tones within', I mean they're all seemingly in there, some to a greater degree than others, but all REALLY yum sounding. One of the channels has enough gain for two hi gain amps together. It's sickening. Even the cleans are friggin' sweet. Gonna take a few days to REALLY dial some fav's in (not to mention learn what some of the 58 knobs do). This is Marshalls best kept secret IMO. Shhh.
