So is that a photo of the bad caps or not ?

Other than the color how can you tell if they are the caps that need to be replaced ?

My photo is what he identifies as the early version Illinois caps. I would recommend taking a photo of your caps and emailing Mike B if you are unsure. He got back to me same day.

I bought mine new on the first run 30 years ago. I've had minimum issues with the amp in that time. I'm just yet to get a clear answer or photo of the bad caps from anyone anywhere on the internet.

Just talked to my tech today. 325 usd for changing out the 3 capacitors, cleaning up the entire amp, measure valves and assembling the combo (everything was coming in pieces)
