lol they are great amps I played a Colossus, last summer locally awesome amp.
One of the coolest things is to me at least its sounds like a lot of amps I dig ,but none of them at same time.

For Instance lead 1 with boost on Has the upper mid snarl ,harmonics, Articulation and sustain of an SLO at the same time the feel is different ,and its way thicker

This is a clip of the Crunch channel with gain at 10.

Crunch sounds great on this clip, i didn`t fiddle long enough with the one i tried to get a good crunch i liked. This i like.

Anybody have any thoughts on the Gemini crunch option?

HNAD and welcome to club Colossus! How do you find the tones compare with the Andy Wood and Thick mods turned off? I don't have either mod in mine. Nice clip BTW.

This is a clip of the Crunch channel with gain at 10.

I find the crunch channel is also great for spanky, trebly funk tones and for adding some grit to a nice clean single coil sound. Dial the gain back between 10-12 o'clock, Bright switched on, Mode off. My alder Horizon with the coils split sounds fantastic through it.

Right now, I am liking Thick set to OFF...I will have to really listen really close to know if the Wood Mod is worth the upgrade....haven't really done anything scientific yet to know.

I play lots of classic rock and I think that the Andy Wood Mods are worth it. It isn't a drastic difference, but it there is a difference.
