Here's a clip of my new Germino Lead 55LV. It's completely stock other than a MV. Sounds pretty damn good to me. I'm clicking in and out a Cusack Screamer which is one of my favorite OD pedals especially on Marshall style amps. Sorry about the faces too. I didn't realize what an idiot I looked like till I watched the clip. Oh well.

That was so gnarly….so in my wheelhouse of tone choices. I swear that's probably the first time I've heard/seen someone demo a 55 or any Germino and actually get that sucker driving like they should be. Congrats…I want to demo a Filmore badly.

I know I bought the amp without demoing it first. All I had to go by was the clips that were already on YouTube which didn't do the amp justice at all. Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised.

That sounds great LP Freak! I've been bitten by the Plexi bug myself lately. Picked up a Rockitt Retro 50 a month and a half ago and liked it so much I traded John4021 my Helios for His George built Metropoulos 12000 ealier in the week. It just showed up a couple hrs ago and I've already put in over an hour with it. Unbelievable, Just a great amp but louder than anything I've ever owned lol! Got an attenuator so I'm good to go without going deaf.
I was always afraid of getting one cause I did not think it would be gainy enough. I was wrong

I've been gassing all month for all the Germino 55's that have been up for sale on TGP lately and.
read over there Greg is releasing a 2204 master volume type amp soon. I bet that is going to be killer.

This thing definately surprised me with the amount of gain it has.

Sounds great Paul!
I never really heard of these amps too much. But man if that clip dont sound good.
Like the post above me...lot of gain coming out that amp. :D

That amp sounds great, the sustain is awesome. What CAA amp do you have and do you still have the Friedman SB? Wondering how the Germino compares to the SB plexi channel.

The CAA is my PT100.

I didn't keep the SB for very long. To be honest, I preferred my Friedman modded JMP over the SB. The clean channel was great as was the BE channel but it sounds just a little to refined to me. I prefer a more raw tone and that's what I get out of my BE mod and the Germino.

The Germino has way more gain than the Plexi channel on the SB. It can easily hang with the BE channel gain wise. It cleans up really well with the guitars volume. It doesn't have the bottom end of the SB and it's a little looser but not too loose. The mids are voiced higher on the Germino...right where I like them. ;)

I had looked at the Germino in the past but always passed on it, your video defiantly shows what it's got to offer. Sounds like a great amp!

If you're into straight up, no frills Marshall tone, this amps got it.

Sounds great. A lot of gain... WOW! what type of Master volume is Greg using? A PrePI JCM800 type or the PPIMV? Just curious...

The amp still has the kerrang of a plexi even with the master.

Greg uses the LarMar MV. It definately works great. I've got a new Fryette Power Station attenuater coming in next week. I'm really interested in hearing them together.

Rippin great tone. Gassing hard to add some Plexi tone to the arsenal.
