nice... tom keifer would be proud

On my modern classics 3 is the spot for the master volume, nice tight, punchy, and balls loud

Sound very nice. How much more gain is available? What speakers are in that cab?

GREAT THANKS...(sarcasm)..now I want a Wizard. DAMN! Sounds Killer!

That amp sound killer! I love it. Nice job with the clips too. I love the top end bite. Sounds like a really good Marshall should sound.

First off. Absolutely killer.

That third clip for me, tells me that that is the Marshall style of amp that I would use in a Trio. Marshall bite but with HUGE balls similar to my Triple Recto.

Ty Tabor should really be using that in Kings X. Just Sayin'.

Congrats man. That is a winner.

Wizards are nice no doubt, the builder is Canadian what do ya know.

Would love to hear that head thru my Blackback stack ...

The MCII is at the top. Don't forget the touch dynamics. Insane. An MCII and a Les Paul :inlove: The guts are like an old piece of war equipment   A tank. Rick earned my respect in a big way with his revised amps and especially the MCII. It's not the same amp as the earlier MC's before he revised them to address a few concerns. When guys like Kullick/Chassen say the newer amps are top they aren't kidding. Brett has like 7 of them in his studio rack. Sick amp. You scored on that trade.

Rick actually prefers the MC I when I talked to him, which is why he didn't discontinue it when the mc II came out. they are the same price.. and any MC I owner can send their amp back for the upgrades free of charge. the upgrades do not affect the tone- Ive sent two of mine back for the revisions already. they only affect usability in a live situation with switching etc. He will also put a tube buffered effects loop in for about 500 I believe.. the MC II (with the V tranny) is a smoother tone for those who prefer that... the I has a raw, aggressive, in your face toothiness to it. they are both fantastic amps!

I'm little confused here. You said tone isn't changed but then said the II is smoother...

Yep, he uses the V transformer in the MC II- which is a smoother feel- but the lead channel is the same.. sorry for the confusion! You can request the C tranny for the original feel. And that's at least the marketing of it... who knows if the diff can really be significant for some. Ive talked to another person on this forum who has had both the mc I and II and stated he perceived no real difference. I have both the A and C transformers in my amps and I cant tell the difference between them despite some saying the A is modern and the C more classic... so, its really subtle on some of this stuff which may or may not amount to a whole lot in the end.

Apparently I am not one of the lucky ones to be able to get mine upgraded......no soup for me.

Wow, really? did you piss him off? lol I really didn't need the updates for what I do.. I could get what I needed by foot switching between the two channels. I never used the extra boost and still don't. The channel pop grounding issue was taken care of when he makes the updates. Everything sounds the same you are not missing anything tone wise.

How much bass does it have?

Most modded marshalls just dont have enough low end grunt to me when i use greenback loaded cabs
