glad you took delivery and that you like it....you'll love it when you can get the volume up. The amps still sound good to me in the lowest power setting but really come to life when you can open it up a bit, move some air and reduce the presence.

That is a great sounding amp! I hope to own one someday.

Well done!

:)

Tonight I literally started to play and before I realized it it was dark outside. I learned what some of my preferences are with those mini toggle switches. Dialed it in a bit different. Very happy with this amp. I guess it's getting to be kinda "cork sniffer" with a Suhr into a Bogner. At the end of the day I love playing this rig. Very satisfying in feel and sound(s). Now time to start looking to upgrade my effects. In the coming months I would like to add the following...
Dunlop Zakk Wylde Wah
EVH MXR Phase 90 and Flanger
TC Electronics Reverb and Flashback pedals or the Digitech Hardwire Delay and Reverb pedals

I don't call it cork sniffin if you know how to achieve the tone you like and have the skill to actually play ;)

Sounds great Jim. The last time I played Ivan's, Robotechnology, 101B I liked it a lot. I just prefer to always use a boost pedal with the red channel to tighten up some of it's sag, not so much a gain boost.

Thanks. At some point I will hook up my Keeley SD-1 or BDD just for giggles but right now I am loving the way it sounds and feels as is.

Congrats Jim! Dig the tones and playing. Really nice setup man.

Thank you for the kind words everyone. I am soooo in the honeymoon phase. I tweeked the red channel a bit more and just love it. The blue channel is cool at low volume but tonight showed me how much better it gets with some volume. Really not to far from vintage Marshall tone. I just can't get over how beautiful this amp sounds and how fun it is to play thru. I think i get the house to myself Wed. So until the Pens/Flyers game at 8:00 i'm going to try and really open this baby up.

without question one of the best XTC vids IMO.

It really pairs up nice with the Greenbacks

I guessing that thats the 34 head not the 6l6.

Tone is punchy, thick but still articulate .

oh ya your playing is great as well
