Ladies & gents, it's my pleasure to present the Carstens Grace 100W: Billy Corgan's (The Smashing Pumpkins) signature amp developed in close collaboration with Carstens Amplification.

The Grace is a 100W, single-channel amplifier with a massive, wide open 3-dimensional tone, very high harmonic content offering articulate high gain & exceptional response to changes in guitar volume & attack. It can go from clean, crunch to overdrive with the turn of the guitar's volume or simply using a lighter touch.

“MultiLoad” - what’s this about?

The cabinet (or load) a tube amplifier interacts with has a considerable impact on the tone & feel.
For this pack, I used 2 iconic cabinets and reamped all settings with each cab.

Summary

The full pack features a Carstens Grace 100W (EL34 loaded) amp captured using 2 iconic cabinets loading down the amplifier.
Since this specimen has no FX loop, the pack only includes AMP captures; no isolated preamp (PRE) or isolated poweramp (POW) captures included this time around.

All profiles calibrated
2 iconic guitar cabs used as loads (no reactive load
Mesa 4x12 OS Straight
Marshall 4x12 1960BV with Marshall G12 Vintage speakers
DI and MIC-ed up flavors for each AMP profile
NAM A2 ready
Extended, anti-aliasing signal leveraged during reamping
High-fidelity signal chain used during reamping
Stompbox / OD profiles included
Kikusui PCR1000MA used at reamping for ultimate consistency
IRs included: Mesa 2x12, Mesa 4x12 OS, Marshall 4x12 1960BV

Fractal's supposedly bringing NAM to the current-gen modelers (AxeFx3 first) ... maybe beta drops today with a bit of luck.

It's been a long day but I have just finished updating the following metadata entries in the NAM A2 profiles on Ko-Fi:

- gear_make
- gear_model
- gear_type

Fractal has recently included NAM support on their Axe-FX 3 product.

With this new firmware update, their current flagship product can run NAM A2 profiles alongside their entire suite of modelled amps, pedals & effects.

When browsing through NAM profiles loaded into the unit, the Axe-Edit utility looks at the gear_type metadata portion and suggests if an IR is required or not; this is visible in the Note section.

I decided to carry out these metadata updates to give folks an improved user experience if they load any of my profiles on Ko-Fi in the Fractal Axe-Fx 3.

Hey folks!

It's been almost a year since the release of the Friedman BE100 Deluxe NAM pack & the first pack sale on Ko-Fi.

Looking back at it, I had very low expectations that this was going to work out, but the reception has been more than I could have hoped for.

Not sure if it it shows but I'm _very_ thankful for everybody who supported my work in the past year (or more).
