Quick teaser of what's cooking at the moment.

This will be the first "MultiLoad" pack I do.

The cabinet / load the tube amp interacts with has a huge impact on how the amp feels & sounds; this is my foray down that rabbit hole.

In essence, every AMP and POW knob combination is reamped 3 times, with each of my 3 cabs:

- Mesa 4x12 OS Straight with Mesa V30 8 ohm speakers

- Mesa 2x12 Rectifier Horizontal (large, not compact) with Mesa V30 16 ohm speakers

- Marshall 4x12 1960BV with Marshall G12 Vintage speakers

It essentially makes it 3 packs in 1 and will include, like all of my recent packs, both DI and FULLRIG profiles as well as PRE (isolated preamp) and POW (isolated poweramp in both DI and FULLRIG versions) profiles.

So ... this thing landed today.

Just unboxed and took it for a quick test to assess functionality; pardon the room mic recording:

It'll be a minute until I do so, but I want to make proper, high-quality, calibrated NAM pack for the thing.

It'll also be my first commercial ToneX release - I want to put out a pack for ToneX as well.

You are the F'n MAN! I don't know how I missed the Super-Hi, gonna try that one this evening.

Quick question you may have some insight on: On demos of the Super Hi, I'm really liking the boosted tone, seems like it kicks in some mid rich eq in addition to whatever else, gain etc., is getting boosted.

This is a tone I haven't heard in other Fortin amps. Maybe it's just because they are usually demoed for the chugs.

Do you associate that mid rich boost sound of the Super Hi with any other Fortin you have experience with?

Thanks again for the awesome NAM profiles!

The only Fortin amps I've tried in-person are these 2 but the Super-Hi's midrange has something in it that the Pumpkin has.

What I like about this new production-run Super-Hi 50 is that it's been fitted with a 3-way Depth switch which makes a world of difference in how the amp sounds & feels.

Thanks for the info bro! Super Hi 50 is in high contention for my next amp purchase. It will be a while, but gives me plenty of time to rabbit hole over minutiae haha.

It's a solid and affordable amp if you go for the 50W PCB version. 1,500 EUR over here.
Until you do, my profiles can "keep you warm" lol.

I published DI profiles (direct, tapped the signal between the amp & cab) which need an IR as well as MIC-ed up profiles in the pack.

Also used a custom training signal / sequence and a solid reamp chain (RME Fireface UCXII interface, Lehle P-SPLIT III) for reamping and a real cab (no reactive load) and went ham on the accuracy by tweaking the code a bit & including some custom, higher versions for each profile with increased fidelity / accuracy & low aliasing.

FWIW, the NAM profile that was tested for aliasing below is one of my Diezel ones; I'm surprised how clean it is.

Ladies & gents - my take on this legendary circuit: the Peavey 6505 1992 Original "MultiLoad" NAM pack.

ℹ️ “MultiLoad” - what’s this about?

The cabinet (or load) a tube amplifier interacts with has a considerable impact on the tone & feel.
For this pack, I used 3 iconic cabinets and reamped all AMP and POW settings with each cab.

✅ All profiles calibrated
✅ 3 iconic guitar cabs used as loads (no reactive load):
➡️ Mesa 4x12 OS Straight
➡️ Mesa 2x12 Horizontal Rectifier (standard, not compact)
➡️ Marshall 4x12 1960BV with Marshall G12 Vintage speakers
✅ AMP, PRE & POW profiles for maximum flexibility
✅ DI and MIC-ed up flavors for each AMP and POW profile
✅ STD and REVyHI architectures
✅ Anti-aliasing signal leveraged during reamping
✅ High-fidelity signal chain used during reamping
✅ Stompbox / OD profiles included

Since it's quite a beefy pack, I decided to shoot a quick video walkthrough of the Peavey 6505 1992 Original "MultiLoad" pack.

The sole purpose of the vid is to help people get the most of these profiles & share some info on how the overall pack's structured.

For whoever's interested in the pack, hope this helps & I appreciate your support!
