First electric was a C series strat ( the name of the company was called "C" and my mom bought me a Yamaha SS combo with a Boss OD1. All down hill after that.

Learned to play on my moms Peavey T-60...she had an all-girl band called the Electric Prudes. She used to take me to bar gigs and I would have to hide behind her big ass Sunn speaker cabinet when the cops came in.

Bought an '81 Les Paul and a Marshall 2203 after working on my Grandfathers farm all summer.

Still have her Peavey and my Les Paul/Marshall

Hondo Les Paul Copy and a Roland Spirit 10 amplifier.

A DOD 250 pedal for more distortion. That was the buzziest raspiest tone ever. And at 14 I loved it.

Scott

Some 6-string Squier that my biological mother bought for an old boyfriend, but she never gave it to him due to breakup. The amp was a Marshall MG15X or something like that. Some 15 watt SS Marshall with a couple built in effects.

Can't remember.....but I am pretty sure it came from the Sears & Robuck catalog.

Yamaha Eterna acoustic with a pickup and a Fender M80 1X12 combo, from the early 90's I believe. It had the grey carpet and everything, haha.

Sears and Roebuck burgundy SG with the little solid state amp that was part off the set. The orange and blue Univox Super Fuzz made it happen....

He is building me a Big Muff & several others .....

Fender Squire
Peavey Bandit
ProCo Rat

Wow, this brings back memories.....

1974 Les Paul Custom
1987 Peavey bandit 75

It was '87 and I got the Les Paul for $450. You could buy a new Standard for $800. If I knew then what I know now, I would have bought three or four of them...lol.

Guitar = Stinger X-12 (some POS Strat copy made by a subsidiary of Martin).
Amp = Some 1x10" solid state combo. Sounded like ass.

Funny thing though, even with a POS rig, I LOVED playing that thing for 5 to 7 hours a day!

Teisco and a plastic amp.
Upgraded the next year to a sunburst Jaguar and Vibro Champ

Me too.
Fender Squier Bullet
Fender Champ
MXR Distortion + pedal
Wanted Rhoads' distorted tone at the time. Did not matter. As much as I tried, it just did not make me happy but I would have my neighbor come over knock on the window and say he liked the way it sounded from outside of course.
