back in @ 1984 my first electric was a RR copy by hondo ( i think ) and it drove me f'n nuts cuase i couldnt just sit and practice... to this day i think it has scared me as i wont go near any type of "V" guitar... As for an AMP , ... fender champ and a giant SUN bass cabenit
Ibanez JS100 and a Jade 100W bass amp with a Boss SD1 to drive it.
Swapped the bass amp for my mates Roadstar II and a Park 25W Solid state amp that I still have but the pots are clapped out. The Roadstar is currently undergoing some surgery as it needs to be rewired and have a new scratchplate put on it due to being snapped near the jackplug. I retrieved this guitar from my mum's place on Xmas day last year, and have currently taken it apart to get rid of some of the rust using steelwool and gunstock oil. doing it slowly, but hope to have it running by the end of the year, as I need some single coil tones to mix with the rest of my HB equipped guitars.
Dean superstrat from Sears and a cheap sears amp, I think it was like LG20 for "lead guitar" 20. For this who had a Peavey Bandit, they still kick butt IMO.
When I was 10, I got a Peavey Telecaster, I think it's called a "Reactor"? and I got Peavey Rage 158. I still have the guitar, in pieces, but I blew up the amp trying to keep up with a drummer. It was awesome.
Mine was an old cort bolt on les paul and a Gorrila practice amp boosted with a old rat pedal. I thought back then it sounded great. Oh my have times changed...
Sanded, lit on fire, beat with a hammer, thrown across the stage (and street), drilled with a hole-saw, glued, used as a dartboard, carved with a knife...you get the point.
