NAMM 2011 STICKY - ALL THINGS FOR THIS YEARS NAMM SHOW HERE.

How does one go about getting tickets? I know you have to be "in the industry", but I would love to go as I have never been, and would love to meet some fellow Rig-Talkers, I'd book my flight all the way from Florida right now if I could somehow get in :)
 
Flights and hotel booked....I'm officially going to Winter NAMM 2011.

Is there going to be a Rig-Talk meet and greet?

I'm flying out Wednesday evening and back to Indiana Sunday evening. I was just in LA for the amp fest, and back again about a month later. :)

This is my first winter NAMM show, however I attending the 2010 summer show. I hear the winter show is much larger, and I'm looking forward to it!

I'm totally down for a meet and greet, even though I'm just now getting around to filling this board with my ramblings.
 
so is there anyone who will do the mightywarlock patented iphone broadcast for those of us across the pond? :(
 
Guys, nobody has answered the question yet.. HOW DO YOU GET tickets? I am not going this year but it has been asked about 5 times in this thread already. Surely it is like a trade show or car show where you pay 20 bucks and walk around isn't it?
 
You need to be a member of NAMM or well in advance have your name submitted by a member of NAMM using one of their spots/badges. Then when you get there you show your ID and you get the badge. They are pretty strict. Probably too late but you might want to get in touch with your favorite dealer or manufacturer if you have a good relationship as an artist or great customer and ask if they will sponsor you.

I will be there. My first time. Where is everyone staying? I seen Kings X and King Cobra (Appice and Sweda) are performing. Looks like Geezer Butler is gonna be everywhere I seen. They gotta be some more after NAMM jams though? I plan on stopping by Tone Merchants. Anywhere else I should go? I'm arriving Wednesday evening and leaving Sunday evening. I wanna play every amp I can get my hands on.. :rock: I hope to meet all you guys :)

DAR Amps will be at Booth# 2286 (Hall D). We look forward to meeting the RT crew!!
