anything you saw which did it for you?

Riot pedal of course, maybe the new JMD Marshall, and HiWatt amps. The HiWatt sounded so good saturday night I was almost ready to pawn off my stuff to get one. It was AMAZING!

some other things i liked-

the new interface y cable for iphone/itouch at PRS...30 bucks...plug gtr in to iphone, headphone output jack on cable, new apps let you record 8 tracks, play along with any song on your iphone, slow down the songs and keep the pitch the same, and a new app coming (supposed to debut at NAMM but still ironing out kinks) which is like a POD/amp emulator and effects


and a new product called jamkat that is a ring with a spring loaded pick holder on a hinge...hold the pick like normal, but when you want to fingerpick, let go of the pick and it flips out of the way, then easily reach around with your thumb to recapture the pick to use again.

My friends The Wholigans played in Marina Del Ray Saturday night. It was insane, I didn't get back to the hotel till almost 5am. Gibson SG with p90's into screaming Hiwatt 100 and 2 4x12's

You got it bro bro. Figured you would like to see that stuff I walked by Vai at NAMM, said hello, he was polite and I kept on going. Saw Santana, Uncle Ted, Cantrell, Slash, Aldrich, DeMartini, etc. Was a TON of people there this year, every day crowd was like a normal saturday crowd, it was insane.

i saw you and curt trying out trussarts from a NAMM block away but i was running to meet some friends to go to a eddie kramer demo at waves.....which was sick btw. his plugs are amazing. those trussarts sound great to me too! heard shark diver's at tone merchants when i got my axe-fx and it was very sweet.

Didn't make it to Guthrie/Andy this time...

Sorry I missed ya at the show, man! Curt and I both called you Friday, but it went straight to voicemail...

that's lame! sorry man i never heard a peep from my iphone from you guys--

my phone was not working well at all in that place...i tried dialing out for like 2 hours and nothing...random calls made it to me...i finally retrieved some of the vms i was sent as i drove off, and never got any from you two!

i figured the amount of wireless data traffic in that place must have just been bonkers---my friend's blackberry was acting the same way..

how scary and cool was it to share harmony licks with that freak o nature, and pull it off, mr. hangy down parts as big at texas!

i took my son and nephew to the gig and they were both so destroyed by both of you and mike's bass playing and joel's drumming. my son stayed up for hours yapping about it and watching clips on youtube of the both of you.

i have been churning in the bowels of shredland for MANY moons
