thanks, brother!
it was my first clip
we designed the amp together as a custom model for me, another friend and himself
it's far from a clone, but it had a lot of Marshall and Bogner as a starting base, and some other guys influence in a few minor ideas (Suhr, Fryette, Diezel, Larry, Soldano)
but it's not a Frankenstein either
this project had over a year and a half on R&D and a lot of personal tweaking and experimentation
it's definitely an original sounding amp, but it could hang through several ballparks
not 80ish sounding like a Friedman, Splawn, Cameron Marshall or Fortin Cali, but one of the lead channel reminds me of some Cameron CCV videos I've seen, maybe more modern and not as aggressive
I wanted something with a Jerry Cantrell vibe, but capable of doing faster stuff like Iced Earth without mushing out
it doesn't have a true clean channel
it's a "simple" 50w amp with 2 drive channels (well, it's called hyperdrive

PCB, chassi mounted tubes, all handwired, metal film resistors, wima capacitors (prototype has epcos capacitors), ultra FRED rectification and bias, alpha pots
transformers are custom wound by Lynx Audio (some old school dude in Rio de Janeiro), with kraft paper isolated bobbins, M4 and M19 grain oriented steel laminations
this amp is the loudest 50w I've ever seen and the transformers don't even get warm (now that's efficiency!)
I don't think he's gonna reproduce this model, but I think he intends to make another version with a true clean channel and only one drive channel that will be a mixture of the first version and my ex-modded Marshall
we had a lot of trouble finding suppliers for most services in small quantities, except electronic parts, so he still can't just launch his brand without being able to give any delivery deadlines
he could make a lot more money sending amps to LA (through my friend who brings me gear) than selling here
