Hello Friends, First time posting
I have a Crate G80XL nice sounding, loud little bugger. Which, on channel "A" puts out some pretty convincing distortion. Thing is 2 out of 5 knobs do not seem to do much, they are part of the "Shape Matrix" namely "Sub" and and "Focus" control.
The Sub is supposedly to add bottom end to the "A" channel, with "Focus being the overall tone control for channel "A". fully counter clockwise= Boosting mid range. Full clockwise= "Fatter" tone. They really don't seem to change the tone either way. So hopefully someone might have one of these amps and tell how effectively these 2 controls should work . Overall I love the sound of this amp. Any guidance is Seriously Appreciated
