Need help...... How to stop the pop?

sounds like it's the buffered/true bypass business causing the pop,

if you set the El Cap to trails on i.e buffered bypass (hold the Bypass button when powering up) that might fix it, at least for the loop

otherwise using a buffer in front of the amp or a buffered pedal might fix the popping you got going on there, i guess you could try as an experiement putting the boss chorus in front of the tuner and timmy, and with the chorus on try turning the timmy and tuner on and off to see if it pops

I also get pops in my pedal setup when i first switch on the 3 bypass loops but it does it once and then it's gone

I have a TC Flashback now where the El Capistan was and tuned off the TB and the pop is gone. I still need to figure a way to stop it on the tuner and Timmy though. The tuner only pops when turning it off.

been googling a bit, these things came up:

"
Just for anyone who is experiencing a "pop" (like I am), straight from Sonic Research, they said that the "popping" noise is pretty much unavoidable in the current design of the pedal. Whether you have the pedal's power isolated or not. Even if it's not attached to any power source, you can still make the popping noise as the switch goes to ground. Albeit, my pop is almost unnoticeable, I can definitely tell that there is a pop noise into my amp. At low to mid volumes it is very hard to distinguish from the actual switch or the signal.
"

and one of the replies:

"
Sharing power with multiple pedals can be a source of the popping. It stems from the fact that most, if not all, overdrive/distortion pedals use unregulated power and will respond to fluctuations on the power supply. This is one of the reasons some players use carbon batteries with their distortion pedals (the carbon batteries have a power sag that changes the characteristics of the pedal).

When you press the footswitch on the ST-200 there is a sudden increase in current draw (about 43mA) from the power source, and this will cause a sudden change in the voltage. If a pedal is not regulating the power input, any such fluctuations will be picked up and amplified.

These pedals respond to any fluctuations, transients or noise on the power input, and many pedals will cause power fluctuations on the power supply line (even if the external power supply you are using is regulated). This is why power supplies like the Voodoo Labs Pedal Power+ have isolated power outputs - to eliminate pedal interaction.

Please keep me posted on how things work out.

thing is your power is isolated (each pedal powered separately) so i can't see it being related to that, do you a different tuner to try in the chain maybe? like an old boss tuner or something, something buffered in front of the amp

if the pop is unavoidable something like a small single bypass loop pedal could do the trick

or this thread for the timmy

I have read all the info and have come to the conclusion it is the Timmy causing the issue. Therefore you must remove it from the board and sell it to me at once. The noise from my single coils will mask any pop in my chain so I'm good.
