So I’m thinking of taking out the k100’s in my custom snakeskin cab.
I can go front or rear load in it easily.
Thinking of either going all cream h’s, mix cream h and v30.
Or keeping (2) k100 in and adding just (2) v30’s.
I play metal, my amps are in my sig.
My (2) current favorite cabs are my Friedman 412:15 and Bogner Uberkab fl.
They have stock speakers, so Friedman has h30 anniv on top and 15” fullback speakers.
Uberkab is v30/t75 cross.
I have a diezel fl v30 I’m thinking of selling?
The all k100 cab really sounded the best with the herbert I had, but I sold it.
It sounds good with my other amps but not as great.
It does sound awesome in stereo with the diezel v30 cab, but that’s a lot with (2) 412’s running.
Ultimately I’m wondering if I’m missing out with some other speakers, with a little more character.
The k100 is love/hate for me. I feel it does best mixed with another speaker, ie the v30.

What’s y’alls opinion?

Thanks!

K100/85's are great with V30s. I have two cabs like that.

I hate to say trust me, but trust me, lol,....Just get a Fryette Fat Bottom cab loaded with Fane F70 speakers.

Otherwise, the v30/CBH75 combo is great.

keep the k100s and get a pair of scumback m75s. perfect combo for hard rock and metal.

I don’t play metal , old school hair metal for me . I have 1 cab with h75 creambacks and one with h75 creambacks and v12h30 anniversary in an x pattern. I prefer the all creambacks cab. It’s more of an “in your face “ tone
