I think Bezo hit it with some type of boost in the front, possibly with eq shaping, and a Klon for the second.
I really like the Joliet Blues Drive, wonder how it would work with the Klon...?
Some type of boost or comp up front to make the sustain on the Klon go to infinity mode.

Just one (so far). I used to love my MXR Booster Mini for a little boost and subtle coloring up front and let the amp(s) do the rest. That thing replaced it. The color and boost is a little richer with that one, and I never set it to boost too much. Just a little push. I like it.
