From what I heard in the demo, the 201 is my choice if it’s a bright speaker or a high gain amp with a lot of sizzle I want to tame a little and the 88 for more standard higher frequency excitement. The 88 being a more direct option against a 57.
Agreed. I think of an M88 as a 57/58 that sounds good.

Inflation is nuts these days, so I'm stockin' up on strings, cables, picks etc any chance I get. I'm loaded for bear when it comes to pickups.

I can’t get too many strings. I don’t play out anymore and don’t play every day, so strings will go bad on me if I have them sitting around too long in the package. I never buy more than a 3 pack of anything.

Made my choices. Guitar stand, Velcro for a rack shelf and two EHX pedals. The LPB-3 and the Lizard King. Went a little overboard but fuck it 😀

Lemme know what you think about the Lizard King. I like fuzzes.

Nah, bro. You can buy strings that come in sealed plastic bags. D'Addario and Dunlop are 2 companies that sell their strings this way to keep them fresh.

I used to love JustStrings.com but he retired recently. Unrolled strings in long plastic bags with dessicant packs in them, a dozen to a bag. I have several bags that are probably 4 or 5 years old and the strings are still like new. The generics were cheap and every bit as good as brands like D'Addario and Ernie Ball.

Oh....and I wanted to ask you.....wUUUUUUUUUUUUHHHHHHZZZZZZZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP?!?!?!?!?!

Soon as I read the first post I thought Lizard King.

My 1st CC had a $500 limit. I bought an Alesis Quadrverb for like $400 in like 1993 and I think I ended up defaulting on it.. LOL

SE Electronics Voodoo Series ribbon mic. Get the VR1 if you have a lot of gain or a good preamp, or get the active VR2 if you don't. Great ribbon mics.
