Just got my Ceriatone Yeti 50.

I'd never played or even seen a Ceriatone before & the one thing I know for sure is that I'm buying another one ASAP.

Nik rules!!!!!!

Bone dry, direct into the amp with no effects.

Hell yes man! I still love my 100 watt Yeti. Probably the only amp that I have I won't sell. I'm going to get a Chupacarba next. Enjoy!

Love to have one as well. Wish they'd add an onboard solo boost and a better FX loop.

I have been close to trying a Yeti at some point. I've had three Ceriatones (Chupacabra 50, JTM45, and 36W R/P) and all were great. The Chup was an awesome amp, and the only reason that it left was that I already had a Splawn QR and just bought a Friedman Smallbox, and am trying to stick to a one-in, one-out gear policy. So the single channel amp had to go. But oh what a great single channel amp it was! Congrats OP!

Yeah, I forgot about that. The FX loop on the Chup was horrible and another big reason that it left the man cave. The Friedman loop is miles better.

i am interested in a king kong

I just picked up a King Kong 50 built by Nik last year. While I can tell there are some seriously badass tones in there, I'm having a little trouble dialing it in, due to all the switches and how interactive they are. Still, it's an unbeatable feature set for the money.

E-mail Nik & ask him.

I've never run into anyone online that is more flexible with his builds & eager to please the customer than him.

Loop isn't that bad. It's not great. But it works for me—I just run delay though.

I dunno... it just didn't work with anything I tried to run through it. Sucked tone and sounded out of phase or something. Always took away from the tone, which is why I gave up. Cause that amp's got GREAT tones in it. Figured that if I was going to be running FX through the loop that messed with the tone, then I might as well just use the amp dry. Wonder how my Strymon El Cap would have sounded through it (didn't have the Strymon when I had the Chup).

I just use the loop for analog delay & it sounds fine.

The Friedman loop is better though.

Ceriatone loop is a simple insert style. Could add a Metro Loop very easily and it'd work great.

Yeah, the loop is just a typical insert style used in many other amps. It's not buffered. That's the only thing about it. But if you have a regular, non-true-bypass pedal in your loop somewhere then you're fine. I run the TC Flashback delay in buffered mode and it works.
