Dammit gas! There's a red stripe on there for $799 right now. I played my old red stripe right next to a c+; and for the tone I dialed it in for, couldn't tell the difference. I can get a similar tone out of a recto/orange/modern, but it needs a boost where the III doesn't.

I have modded FJA Recto. The end of all amps for me.
But the Mark series is special. Lookin forward to getting this one. I remember when I had my Red stripe. At the time it was my desert island amp.

Is it cheaper to ship between gc's or do they charge you an arm and a leg?. Been finding some deals on used gear lately. Especially used cabs.

I find it pretty cheap when going store to store. Bought a 4x12 from somewhere down south. Had it shipped to my local guitar center for about $25.00?? I know it was super cheap.

That really is a great price. If I would of seen it I probably would of grabbed it before the Blue.
The last red stripe I had was just a bad ass.

Happy hnad, i think the blue stripes are the only ones wired in pentode. Bigger
brass klangers than triode i reckon.
