New Amp Inbound!!!!!

Ok so my tastes vary quite a bit. I dig the 80's hair metal stuff but I love classic rock and new\old country as well. The band I'm in now does mostly new country, classic country, and classic rock and I needed something a little different. I usually take my Shiva head or a Fender DRRI to gigs but I wanted something a little more Vox-like. Found a Dr. Z Stangray on Reverb (really loving that site btw) for like half price! Demos sound great (think hot-rodded AC30 pre top-boost) with a loop!

Can't wait!!!!!!!

Cool! I've never really been able to get a clear opinion on how versatile Dr Z amps are from people that use them because they usually only fall into one camp genre-wise. I know they're really popular with country guys. Being that you play stuff from hair metal to country you'll have to fill us in the pros and cons when you get it and put it through its paces. I see quite a lot of dirt pedal demos done online with them, seems like they can handle a good amount of gain thrown at their front end without getting squirrely, not something I think a Vox can pull off.

And yeah, Reverb rocks for me so far!

No amp is like a Dr Z. I've never such a strong connection between my hands, guitar, and amp as when I was plugged into a Carmen Ghia. Miss that thing. Congrats you'll love it I'm sure.
